Kaeli completed the Ceramics Studio program at Kootenay Studio Arts in Nelson, BC in 2017. She creates functional ceramics as a way to explore living themes of people, places and daily interactions.
Prior to immersing herself hands on in the ceramics studio, she completed a Masters of Arts in Environmental Education. Her Thesis was an ethnographic study of studio potters examining their attitudes and connections to the earth through embodied experiences of working with clay.
Kaeli's work is inspired by the landscapes she knows best. Her ceramics are a reflection of the places she knows intimately and the desire to share them with others.
